Our goal is simple: turn our marginal land into a place that supports our family and community.
One important disclaimer: we will share our experience confronting death. That is the nature of farm life, and the subject deserves a voice. We will do our best to treat it with reverence. While some death is widely considered banal, like killing spotted lantern fly and pulling carrots, other death is brutal and tragic, such as slaughtering a goose that knew its name.
This newsletter is a place we reflect on the choices we make to build our farm.
